"Had to write again. GREAT BAIT! That cheese-flavored and blood-flavored FoodSource Catfish Bites are so hot here I went through both of them in one night. I was using a few baits, like cut fish, nice big worms and your bait. Soon as I put your bait on bang, I was catching cats. My friend caught the biggest -- it was a channel cat about 7 pounds, but I think I caught more than he did. We just couldn't believe our luck how fast it changed. The smell or what ever had the cats coming up the river looking for us. Trouble was as soon as we ran out so did our luck, so we packed up and left. In the river as small as ours is it is hard to find that hot spot, but with your bait the fish come to you. The scent must travel a long ways."

"I just wanted to let you know that a few months back I purchased some of your worms and the fishing has been GREAT!  My father-in-law and I have had the best fishing in years!!  Unfortunately we don't have pictures yet, but we've been catching everything from 2-3 pound Largemouth Bass to 2-3 pound Chain Pickerel!  We use spinner lures and we end up throwing one of your worms at the end of the hook.  Almost every time, without fail, we'll reel in a nice fighting bass or chain pickerel to shore.  And they swallow the worm!  So you know they're chasing the worm.  Plus, if we don't use the worms - we could spend 30 minutes to an hour before we see something.  Anyway, thanks again and I'll be back soon to order more."

"Last summer I bought some of your Cut Bait in Bone & Glitter and Garlic/Salt scent, and I tried it out on my home waters.  I fish a small reservoire from shore, which usually means less opportunity in the summer.  Plus the fishing pressure's bad, so the fish aren't very big and there aren't too many biters.  I was fishing a usually unproductive flat in weather conditions that were all wrong, so the odds were stacked against me.  After about 2 hours of nothing, even after using my favourite "lucky" crankbait, I decided to toss on a chunk of your FoodSource Cut Bait and give it a shot.  On my second cast, I got a follow and watched as the fish got close.  He bit just a teeny bit too short, and you wouldn't believe what happened next.  Normally, they give up and turn away, or sit and wait for the next offering, but this guy turned around faster than you could imagine, in plain sight of me and only about 1 or 2 feet away from my rod tip, and he SLAMMED my lure so hard that he actually came full out of the water.  He didn't want to give up!  Turns out he was a nice 2 pounder smallmouth bass.  I'm converted now.  Your bait will always be in my tackle box from now on!!!  It was kind of hard to believe, because he came up to it after a couple hours of unproductive fishing in a shallow flat in the middle of a late-summer day in near-still waters and only-slightly-overcast sunlight ... normally they spook, but this guy obviously wanted the stuff."

"On February 6th, we were ice fishing on Long Lake in North Central Michigan. Our Vexilar showed something on the bottom other than walleye. I pulled out spikes and wax worms with a finesse perch pole ... no bites. Next, I put on a 1/4-inch piece of FoodSource red mealworm on a bare #14 beak hook and sinker ... Bingo, I started catching perch. They would only bump my fishing partner's real bait, so finally he changed to FoodSource mealworms and then he began yelling bingo! "I want to thank you all at Food Source Lures, Today I went to a local lake, part of the Portage lakes in Ohio. I exclusively used Food Source Lures, because I had done all the research on your company and loved the concept of using real food in the lures. I used the 2" Swirl Tail Grubs, White, garlic and triple salt  with a black jig and a small bobber. I popped the round bobber over tree limbs and in less then 10 minutes I bagged 7 very nice crappie.  The fish wanted the grubs so much, they where biting the tales off. The bluegill and rockbass where loving the lures as well, It was a great evening of fishing, thank you, and i'll be ordering many more.  P.S. "I was experimenting with FoodSource Lures today on the Potomac ... actually was just fooling around for 30 minutes from shore before going on a run and experimented with 5" Food Stick and a Gulp! similar one. This is a heavily fished place ... a park, picnic tables, a place where people can rent canoes and row boats, etc. Anyway, I was fishing one of your olive-colored ones with no weight, flipping it alongside a bank and bang, a 4+ pounder hit it. "On 06/18/04, I was Houseboating on Lake Powell on the Arizona/Utah Border. I had been fishing all day and was not having very much luck. In fact I didn't get a bite all day and I was throwing everything I had at the fish. It dawned on me that I had some Foodsource Lures in my tackle box. I rigged up one of the Foodsource 3" Earthworms in a weedless setup, and threw my line in the water, from the shore, with no luck. I then threw it in again and pulled it slowly along the bottom. All of a sudden, I felt one of the hardest strikes I have ever felt. I set the hook and about 90 seconds later landed a 3 pound smallmouth bass. This may not seem all that big to you, but let me tell you, it was the biggest fish caught by 3 fishermen in a 5 day period. "It's amazing what these lures do.  The other day my Dad and I were fishing at Blydenburgh Lake, on a rowboat and we found a small grassy flat.  We were throwing everything but the kitchen sink at them and we decided to use our Red Flash 5" Food Sticks. "A few weeks back I saw FoodSource mentioned in a magazine and I bought some 3-inch earthworms and 1-inch mealworms. This past weekend we went out hoping to hook into some nice panfish. I had stuck the FoodSource baits in my vest, and after trying just about everything else with nothing to show for it, opened up the package of earthworms. I rigged it with a small hook a few feet under a bobber and cast it out. My bobber disappeared as soon as it hit the water, almost like it was made of lead. The way the fish felt, I was pretty sure a nice-sized little bass took the bait. When I finally landed the fish, I was thrilled to see a fat bluegill on the hook. We measured it, and it was just shy of 8 1/4 inches. It took all summer, but I had reached my goal and had a great time doing it. I give all the credit to FoodSource. We fished in the same spot all afternoon, and tried everything including live bait, Powerbait micros, Gulp, and spinners. Nothing worked, but as soon as the FoodSource hit the water it was like turning on a switch to start the fish biting. I'm hooked! I can't wait to try some of the other earthworm colors, as well as the salmon eggs for trout and steelhead and the food sticks for bass."

"I picked up a package of the 3" inch earthworms at the recent OWAA conference in Madison. I have a small pond on my place here in northern Illinois, and when the grandkids show up they want to fish. Naturally, I have no live bait for them to use, so that involves digging, or driving to bait shops, then storing the messy stuff in my fridge, which displaces beer. None of these things are good. This morning I took my granddaughter fishing with the intention of trying out the FoodSource bait. She caught a bass on her first cast, and the bass and bluegills just kept coming. "I just thought I'd share a family experience with you.  My parents recently came through Auburn on their way to our cabin in Canada (out of the way, I know) and insisted that they find some of the Foodsource lures I had told them about.  Well I sent them up there with three packets.  My father prefers sunfish, but after strong persuasion and describing how to rig and fish the lures they set out one evening to give it a try.  They were blown away, saying that: 'Fishing with your Bama lure is getting to be old stuff.  Bring it in real slow with an occasional little flick like a minnow would do in it's death throws and wait for a big hit to set the hook.  Caught three decent bass with it last night at our favorite area by canoe.  Five nights earlier I caught a bigger one on the lure....'  I attached pictures of some of their 'lunkers' and while they may not measure up to Bama standards, to them these will be the big fish of the summer and all thanks to your lures.  Thank you for making a wonderful evening of fishing for my parents."

"Your FoodSource grubs saved the day of fishing. 02/17/07 I was fish Amador Lake in California after a rain storm, and the lake was brown from the all the rain. I had just received your grubs and salmon eggs. I put on the white 3" grub with a red egg and started top line trolling. Well let me tell you we ended up with 12 trout from 3 to 6 lbs. What a day! "A friend and I took a one hour drive to Anitoch, Illinois a few days ago to purchase some samples of your 3" earthworm and 1" meal worms. We test fished several scents and four colors. All were effective for Blue Gill, Crappie, Perch, Bass, and even one small Carp. All together, we caught and released 52 fish in approximately three hours. While fishing a tournament in Lake Guntersville, Ala, in unfamiliar waters, I placed in the money, and I believe it was FoodSource that put me over the top. I had never heard or tried FoodSource before, and because one of my very good friends had left his equipment to me, I came across these lures. I honestly believe that the FoodSource Lures made the bass come to me (and maybe a little bit of my dearly departed friend!). "In March 2004 I fished the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Savannah River Division event on Lake Russell in Elberton, Georgia. I started off fishing a blue/black ½ oz jig with black pork trailer. It was getting bit but the fish were only picking up the jig by the pork trailer. By 9 AM I had lost 3 spotted bass in the 4 pound range. I changed the trailer to a FoodSource Lures 2" Swirl Tail Grub. On the third cast I boated a 4-½ lb spotted bass and soon after two 2-½ pounders. After the strong current stopped I went to the FoodSource Lures 5" Food Stick instead of the usual Senko and finished out my limit. I believe that the bass had been picking up my jig by the pork trailer and when I switched to the FoodSource Lures grub it encouraged them to hold on to it longer and eventually get the jig in their mouth. As for the Food Stick my advice to any angler is as soon as you think a fish has the bait -- set the hook!!!!!!! Those fish will not let go of the bait once they pick it up and they will swallow if you give them half a chance. I finished in the money that day but what if I had changed to the grub earlier? Three 4 pounders before 9 AM would have been nice!"

"These carp were caught and catfish were caught in a span of two days.  A cold front had just came in and the carp and catfish were shut off I tried dough dip bait bread anything you can think of then I remembered I had bought some cheese scented cut bait a week earlier and figured heck may as well try it and after about 5 minutes of setting 2 rods one started to sing boom catfish then I proceeded to catch 6 more in a half hour before I called it the quits due to the fact I ran out of cut bait I went to the store and bought more and set out the next day and sure enough as soon as I set out the bait bam that 45.09lb carp hit I also caught 2 other carp that day and many other catfish."
